The Name
A little bit about Puddles & Pastries: This is a dual homage to my nickname, Ducky and a tribute to God, it represents how he carries us through all of life's seasons, guiding us even when we find ourselves stuck in puddles.
Puddles & Pastries was born out of a love for baking and a desire to share that love with the community. What started as baking for family and friends has grown into something we're incredibly proud of — a small, home-based bakery serving the Bellevue, TN area.
Every item on our menu is made completely from scratch, using quality ingredients and time-honored recipes. We don't cut corners, and we don't bake in bulk. When you place a pre-order with us, we bake specifically for you — so what arrives at your door (or pickup spot) is as fresh as it gets.
The name carries deep meaning. "Puddles" is a nod to the nickname Ducky — a personal touch that keeps this bakery rooted in who we are. And the broader meaning speaks to faith: a reminder that even in life's harder seasons, when you feel stuck in the puddles, there's something greater carrying you through.
